It may be the router polling your NTP server for time and resolving the hostname. Just a guess. | |

You need to be on an old version for that command to work. The one I used to fix the issue was the first release from 2015.

Yes, you can just assign ip addresses to specific devices if you want. I am just OCD and assign everything I own an ip address, but I still allow dhcp for friends laptops and phones. | |
