Assign an IP for the NTP server and not a hostname and bypass DNS.

It may be the router polling your NTP server for time and resolving the hostname. Just a guess.

Have you tried Duck DNS? It is free and requires you do nothing after setting it up.

Telnet is built in to Windows 10, but you must first add the feature.
Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off > Telnet Client

You need to be on an old version for that command to work. The one I used to fix the issue was the first release from 2015.

Yes, you can just assign ip addresses to specific devices if you want. I am just OCD and assign everything I own an ip address, but I still allow dhcp for friends laptops and phones.

If I navigate via the samba share I see the data.
There is a problem with the ProFTPD module I guess as I get blank directories after rebooting.
