Have you enabled https?

I have had the same when I enabled https for Web Access.
After I disabled it it went back to normal CPU usage.

Well, I can confirm that the message

vpn modules successfully unloaded
does not appear in syslog any longer.

But Chillispot is still not working Sad

Yes, you are right.
WRT54GL has got 16 MB RAM but only 4 MB flash memory.
Do not try to flash WRT54GL with mega.

It seems to be a general problem with v24 final.
In the meantime I tried dd-wrt.v24_nokaid_special_generic.bin with the same results.

It also produce the VPN Modules messages in syslog.
