| Of course. Buy a better router. I have an r7000 and tm-ac1900 converted to an rt-ac68p that I can't sell. They've become so common and cheap. I was offered $20 for the r7000. Lol

| I see the serial port. Why don't you try that? Why the need to do jtag? Probably not supported anyway.

i checked the board for a jtag header too but it has none

| The wiki indicates that the header had to be modified to flash and the returning to stock is problematic. You should read the wiki install guide, and all linked posts.
