@ghoffman : i presume you are using ddwrt for wrt32x (and you have the default values for u-boot env vars). so to flash flat image you can use serial or from ddwrt terminal :
#mtd erase mtd7 #mtd ... |

so, if you have AMD/Spansion nand chip, you dont need dts patch, and this explain why sysupgrade is working for @isg17 .

@isg17 : what nand hardware do you have ? you can find it using #dmesg | grep nand
is it AMD/Spansion or Winbond ? i am asking because ddwrt for wrt32x does not include nand dts patch for winbond y ... |

i think there's no fix for miniDLNA anytime soon. Might have been due to kernel compatibility issues
