Yes, I was trying to do string comparisons. I'm not use to needing to quote strings in sh. Changing to != fixed everything. Oi.

There is a lot that is odd about it. Unfortunately, only a few builds for it got out before the VAP bug got introduced, so there isn't really a stable build to pick from if you want bridged VAPs.
