Did you enable smb1.0 / CIFS Client feature in windows 10 ? It's disabled by default. Is your Win LAN defined as private ?
There is no search for smb services on public network for security reason.

yes, I have tried many many things samba is what I'm using and tried smb 1.1 to 3.1 no luck. windows always asks for a certificate.

Looks like the firmware has been updated to 9.3.2.12 (as of 5 hours ago):

Yesterdays build thread talked about it; the ESP problem is not solved by replacing the wifi firmware binary.

AFAIK the wifi driver has not been altered, only a swap of the blob.
