Did you enable smb1.0 / CIFS Client feature in windows 10 ? It's disabled by default. Is your Win LAN defined as private ?

yes, I have tried many many things samba is what I'm using and tried smb 1.1 to 3.1 no luck. windows always asks for a certificate.

Best way I found was using the second radio on 2.4 Ghz - its a different chip and doesn't have the same bug as the main radio. That way you keep all the security on.
