The solution is to serial flash it, worked lile a charm and very easy to do.

The issue with the GUI was fixed but the imaged used doesnt include the fix sadly, tbey closed my github bug post.

It is a Torx yes.

You dont have to remove the board, once ypu remove what i call the shroud, put masking tape over the attenas to stop them dropping out all the time and gently life the edge to fit ...

Its not virgin thats the issue, getting 387 mbit down every time i speed test.

The wrt32x was able to send that speed as well but only aftwr i tweaked a setring, that routwr had 20, 20/40, 80 and ...

Did you enable all 3 wlan cards 2.4 and the 2 5ghz ones ?


I had already set it to 80z wode band but didnt change the channel yet, cant get faster than about 280

Did you have to adjust the power settings?


Considering im sat 5 feet from the router my phone on 5Ghz is only getting 55 meg.

On the wrt32x i was getting my full 387 once i had set it to 80mhz ...

Dynamic routing : disabled


Other than me changing dhcp yo 192.168.2.1 (due to some devices having static) everything else is default setting.
