IIRC it takes about 10 minutes to flash a cfe using jtag. If it is not getting past a certain point, perhaps your flash chip is damaged? Others will know better.

Seems asterisks was only built into K2.4 Build Mega but the Asus RT-N16 should use K2.6 Newd2.
