on my wrt32x the power button blinks wont boot,
i got a usb to ttl and connected and tried the update both images with flat firmware but it doesnt fix it

ive been researching for hours and cant fi ...

I confirm, I also with time on wrt3200 very strongly faded 3 LEDs, now I soldered new.
You can check the brightness in the U-boot command -
mfg led all [on/off]
