PostForum: Broadcom SoC based Hardware   Posted: Mon Aug 19, 2019 17:56   Subject: linksys wrt160nv3 guest network doesn't broadcast
So now the main issue is that as soon as I put any security at all on my guest network, it stops working. I've tried with both builds referenced in this thread. Any idea what could cause that?

I tried that and still no good. But I did stumble upon something. I had been enabling wireless security right at the beginning of the process on bot wl0 and wl0.1. This time I didn't. And I got a ...

Just to be sure, I did a 30-30-30 reset, reapplied the firmware, did a 30-30-30 reset again and manually applied all settings. Still no guest network.

Thanks for the idea. I also wondered about that mega build. So I did downrev to r35531 and it's still the same. My guest network is configured, set to broadcast SSID but no broadcast. And I still ...

I've never run stock D-Link at this speed. I upgraded to DD-WRT a long time ago (but am running a fairly recent release). I'd rather not revert if i don't have to. With or without sfe, I only got ...
