I stand corrected. I was pretty sure it was the ea6500 that still used a mips cpu. Maybe it was single core / dual core that threw me off.

That I think is definatly a no.

The ea6500 uses a different cpu and arkitekture as far as i remember. The ea6900 uses the same as the ea6400, but this is also buggy.

Unless you are up for some fiddeling, then i would say no. Its not yet ready.
I base this on these experiences/facts...

Because of a cfe bug, it will corrupt your nvram when you reach ...

When going from stock firmware to dd-wrt, it sets my mac adresses wrong, and gives dublicate use ...

So why is it a good idea to overclock the Router? My EA6300 is on 800 Mhz and works like a charm (except wifi range)...

My guess is that it would be because of enhanced usb performance.
