Having the same issue. Have to reboot the router to access the GUI. Have you tried any newer versions since then?

The VAP solution fixed all my problems with smart devices such as lightbulbs, outlets and my Logitech Harmony hub.

it helped a lot with pairing, but after a while my devices still disconnect/reconn ...

Before going through extensive reconfiguration as a test go to your wireless settings -> advanced settings -> wmm support -> Disable, apply and see if your smart bulbs connect. ...
