Problem still exists for build 35831. I flashed that version, then reset to defaults, and then noticed no LAN-to-LAN traffic. Only after I telnetted into the router and pinged the devices successfully ... | |

Have a look Isn't MT46V32M16 a DDR SDRAM chip? I tried that on my WHR-HP-G54 but DDR requires 2.5V source (and different clock rate, etc.). Had to go back to SDR SDRAM (MT48LC32M16A2) but even two ... |

If it would be easy to bump the Buffalo up to 32 MB, that would be pretty darned cool. Now, if the flash could be bumped up, too, JFFS would be easier... I have access to flash of the same footprin ... |

Thank you for trying this! So, if you just wanted 32 MB on the WHR-HP-G54, you could swap out the two SDRAM parts for, example, Micron MT48LC8M16A2P-6A 128 Mb, 8x16 chips. True; I couldn't find a ... |

Just looking at the HP-G54 picture, it looks like there is space for two RAM modules. Is this possible, has anyone tried this? This is possible. I removed the two modules on the backside and put 2 ... |

Is the router firmware even capable of accessing that much memory? Yes in theory. My intention was to put a 128MB ram chip in when I found out that the A12 line is not run on the G v6. The config re ... |

What are you trying to do? Upgrade a 54 pin RAM chip or a 66 pin RAM chip? Upgrade the memory from 16MB to 128MB. Next would be the flash, but I want to get the DDR SDRAM working first. |

2. If I can get my hands on a 32Mx16 DDR I just might try swapping the DRAM again. Address line A12 is the highest on both the 16M and 32M because of the row/column scheme used for memory access. In ... |

I would have to say that both units would measure the same since the cases are exactly the same size. You're looking at 5" x 5" as the board side with ~1" width. Just looking at the ... |
