You still have wl0 on the LAN interface.
And if I remember right, the later builds will automatically setup the firewall between the bridges. |

Try Kong Mod buid 17140.

I'd move wl0.1 (guest wifi) in to a bridge of it's own, assign it an IP, turn off the hotspot services and be done with it.

Why iptables? Access restrictions does the same thing.

15508 has older wifi drivers. After around 170xx(84?) there were new drivers and the stability went to crap.
If you need a virtual ssid (for guests), you might have trouble on 15508 but not with th ... |

Put it in to a bridge.
Setup -> Networking Create a bridge Assign interface called eth1 to the bridge you just created. Not sure if that firewalls it or not. If not, you can use iptables. |
