I only ever use WPA2 Personal/CCMP-128 (AES) so that isn't the issue for me. I will try out the r39884 build.

I had it on 20/40 Dynamic. I know not the optimal, in fact I tried using 80. Thought that may be the issue so put back on 20/40 Dynamic with automatic channel and extension - same settings as before. ...

Okay, well I have recovered the Netgear using serial recovery. I've left the wire in place and routed outside of body for any future hiccups. This was the easier one, luckily its the primary router.

A usb to uart serial adapter is a few dollars on eBay.
It's not hard to do.
Btw way these are all beta builds. It is always assumed that the user knows how to fix the router before using them or at ...

Also, maybe this should be added to the wiki.
I see special notes about certain hardware all the time, but I went through the wiki how-to without any reason to believe it would brick two routers!

If you search the forum, you'll see that wds is an issue lately and also the last few builds have rendered the reset button non-functioning.
You'll probably need a serial cable.
