That's a good idea. So far after updating I haven't experienced the issue since, but having a cronjob restart the openservice regularly is a good idea if this does keep happening.

I'd concur then that it is like hardware issue, unless you find the power supply is bad (it can happen).

Just to be aware the R7800 is Atheros and not Broadcom based. If your looking at using more ...

Out of interest, is it overclocked?

I personally have mine overclocked to 1.2 GHz and its OK, but I found pushing it to 1.4 GHz would make it behave poorly and in a similar way to how you describe. ...

well since last build 35900 my R7000 has troubles fetching an IP's to clients, nothing has been changed ever since..new build 35965 has the same issue no IP gian...
