However, there are some large stability issues, and the router will reboot seemingly at random.
Turning on QoS seems to make the reboots MUCH more frequent, down to a couple minutes between reboots ...

I heard BW has pretty much retired fixing routers. I also believe that if someone tried & failed with soldering / pcb work, he won't mess with it.

pretty sure, you do not have 256k nvram..

does it matter? you can not fill 64k, let alone 256k.

The latest builds are out of control!

dd-wrt needs a hardreset..

mini is used for initial flashing. std is for routers with dd-wrt already installed.

ok.. here comes the catch 22

you have to run a build that has ssh so you can transfer a cfe file to the /tmp folder of the router.

in order to do that, you have to compress the cfe or the micro ...

you left off the file extension for the build you tried to flash.

there are two types.. a firmware.bin file for flashing once the router is running dd-wrt..

the other type is a firmware.trx.. th ...
