I see, thanks for that. That's what I was afraid of. Until we get a better router, is there any way to use the LAN port, but "block" our office from the rest of the building?

There's no way around this. When plugging the cable from your building into a LAN port, you essentially use it as a Switch which is why you get the maximum speed possible.

I have two R7000s, one is in Client Bride.

Both R7000s have TurboQAM enabled in the web interface, yet "Wireless" only shows them being connected at 450 Mbit/s.
Shouldn't they connect ...

I wouldn't use the mtd erase nvram command as it has a higher possibility of bricking your router.
