If anyone wants to do the RAM upgrade, then RS Components stock the chip. It's only £2.16 new. Very Happy

I too have successfully installed this onto a G2v1.
Remember to be patient and absolutely wait ages after the flash and between resets.

Where does the Buffalo whr-g125 (240 Mhz processor?) fit in?
It fits in extremely well. 16MB RAM and 4 ROM with 240Mhz processor means it's more than capable.

The WRT54G2 has a 240Mhz processor but only 8MB RAM and 2MB ROM.
It's quick but can only be used with the micro version.
