Is Shortcut Forwarding Engine (SFE) enabled in the Basic Setup tab -> WAN Setup -> Optional Settings?

No, it's not enabled. The DD-WRT settings are default except for my static IP config.

Everything is good, so far, with the R8000. Astrill and DNSCrypt OK. No other very fancy feature used.

Astrill applet doesn't get IP addresses from servers with this release (OpenVPN?) on R8000. Reverted back to the 08/09 33010 release and it is all fine again.
